Maxwel Sites is a state-of-the-art, multimedia and multilingual website construction kit based on the Astro framework.
Text, image, audio and video are supported, automatically adapted to all screen sizes on smartphone, tablet or desktop, in landscape and portrait format.
In the MDX document format, multimedia components such as image, slideshow, audio, video or playlists can be placed freely in formatted rich text.
The minimalist design supports individual fonts, icons, colors and sizes as well as inverted day and night modes, and can be customized at will on request.
Configuration, design, translation, content management and the development of individual components for one or more websites can be realized through AI skills in natural language.
The system offers newsletter, RSS feed, PDF export, shop and visitor statistics, and can be used for websites, microsites and landing pages.
Thanks to static-site technology, where all content is optimized and pre-rendered at build time, the loading times of every single page are reduced to milliseconds — for users as well as search engines, social media algorithms and AI agents.
Based on open-source software, hosting on own server infrastructure located in Germany is possible.
